Hello today is a day for a sad post but one I honestly should have done a long time ago. I am officially cancelling Dairy Aire. It is with a very heavy heart that I do this because I have wanted to make this game for so long. This was the game I dreamed about making for so long. I paid for every dime of this project out of my own pocket, back when I did not have a lot of money to be spending on that. All the art in this game was hand drawn via computer by a wonderful artist who was paid (probably not enough, but I only had so much cash). Eventually, my pockets ran dry and I could no longer pay the artist and soon after so did my motivation for the project. It is only now 7 years later that I have learned that I have ADHD and that is probably part of the reason I hyperfixated on it so much in the beginning and then lost interest in it when everything started to fall apart. I am very sorry to everyone who wanted to see this game come to completion. This is not a sob story for your cash I am doing fine on that front now. In fact if anyone did pay for the game and would like a refund please contact me and we can find a way to set that up. I am not sure if itch has I way to do that or not or with we would need to do it a different way. I will leave the game as is live for anyone who wants to play it. I do hope to come back to this some time in the future as a 3d game in unreal engine, but I make no promises. I have done a little work, but very little.
